Welcome to Port Neill Primary School, and thankyou for visiting our website.
It’s an honour to be appointed as the Acting Principal of Port Neill Primary School for 2025. Our school is renowned for its culture of high expectations and rigorous learning outcomes, guided by the Department of Education’s strategic framework. Building on the foundation laid by former Principal Lisa Masters, we continue to prioritise fostering a positive social environment where students, staff, and families thrive. This approach enables a culture where wellbeing and learning co-create both academic and social intelligence success.
Our achievements are deeply rooted in the strong voice and commitment of our governing body. I am eager to engage with families and the community, learning how our school is enriched by the unique contributions of Country communities like Port Neill. Together, we nurture resilient and resourceful students who are active members of society.
At Port Neill Primary School, our students benefit from innovative programs such as the Plastics and RELISH initiatives, which equip them with entrepreneurial skills and learner agency. Our focus on a circular economy and inquiry-based learning challenges fosters positive dispositions towards lifelong learning. Students are immersed in a collaborative learning environment, where they are active participants in their education, guided by experienced teachers who inspire curiosity.
Our Community Connections program further strengthens healthy, long-term relationships with the community, celebrating the collective efforts of students, teachers, parents, community members, and our educational partners.
